The Flood Warning continues for
the Iroquois river near Chebanse.
* Until Sunday afternoon…or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 945 am Friday the stage was estimated at 17.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast…the river will crest near 17.4 feet by this
evening. The river will fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
The Flood Warning continues for
the Iroquois river at Iroquois.
* Until Wednesday afternoon…or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 945 am Friday the stage was 24.1 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast…the river will fall below flood stage by Wednesday
morning.
The Flood Warning continues for
the Kankakee River at Momence.
* Until Tuesday morning…or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 945 am Friday the stage was 5.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Forecast…the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
early Tuesday morning.
The Flood Warning continues for
the Kankakee River at Shelby.
* Until further notice…or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 945 am Friday the stage was 12.7 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Forecast…the river will fall to a stage of 12.0 feet
by Saturday morning.
* Impact…at 12.5 feet…water flows over part of US 41.
