IDAP GRANT RESULTS TO BE ANNOUNCED AUGUST 17th
An Invite to August 17th Meeting, Results of Illinois Disaster Assistance Program Grant >
> Results of a grant application for flood assistance in Iroquois County from the 2008 floods will be announced August 17th. The Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department took the lead in the grant application process. An update on the application will be made public Monday, August 17th at a 1:30 pm meeting in the County Board Room in Watseka.
The agencies that submitted requests for reimbursement funding through the Illinois Disaster Assistance Program (IDAP) are encouraged to have a representative at the meeting to learn where Iroquois County stands in the application process. The federal government made more than $2-million available for Iroquois County, through the IDAP grant, which was administered by the Department of Human Services. The August 17th meeting will also serve as a press conference to announce the funding received through the grant.
