FLOOD ADVISORY; Iroquois County

Flood Advisory
Statement as of 8:43 AM May 08, 2012

The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
* Flood Advisory for the Iroquois river at Iroquois.
* Until late Wednesday night.
* At 800 am Tuesday the stage was 17.8 feet.
* Action stage is 17.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast…the river will begin a very slow fall but remain near
flood stage for the next 24 hours.
* Impact…at 18.0 feet…agricultural areas near the river begin to
flood.

546 am CDT Tue may 8 2012

The Flood Advisory continues for
the Sugar Creek at Milford
* until late Wednesday night.
* At 500 am Tuesday the stage was 17.2 feet.
* Action stage is 15.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast…the river will rise to near 17.6 feet by this evening.
